What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors use the contact form on the site we collect the data shown in the form (such as name and email address), so we can reply to a contact request. When visiting our website we register the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help us with bot/spam detection and visitor statistics. This website does not use social media plugins.

How long we keep your data

We will keep the personal data a user has submitted through the contact form no longer than is necessary for us to reply to the message or request. Statistical data will be kept no longer than 1 year.

Third party

Other then data collected by Google Recaptcha (see below), we will not supply data to third parties unless forced to by law.

Cookies

We use technical, functional and analytical cookies. Cookies by Google can be placed when using the Google reaptcha service present on our site. These cookies include the following: SID, APISID, HSID, SAPISID,SSID, NID.

A cookie is placed when using the ‘full-text access’ feature. We do this to store your selected preference so you won’t have to do that in the future. This cookie has an expiry time of 1 year.

Google Recaptcha

Based on our legitimate interest in the prevention of spam and abuse, we also use the reCAPTCHA feature of Google on our websites. This function is primarily used to distinguish whether an input is made by a natural person or abusive by automated processing. The service includes the sending of the IP address and possibly other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. Your rights

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. You can do this using our contact form.

Encryption

For the encryption (HTTPS over TLS) of our websites we use the free service “Let’s Encrypt”. Through the certificates, we can offer a so-called transport encryption, which protects the communication to our websites from access by unauthorized third parties.
